I had the opportunity to be interviewed by BBC sport on motivating and inspiring young children through my own Fitness Channel and taking part in Fitness events around Scotland.
There is plenty research out there to support the evidence that fitness helps reduce anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. It's of course not the cure, but it certainly helps.
Small lifestyle changes make all the difference and you can always include your young ones in daily fitness. Start them young and they will develop good routines as they grow older.
If not for young children, do it for you.
